Play offers fast internet, mobile services, TV, and is one of the most modern networks in Poland.

2025

Play with the highest revenue in history (10.5 billion PLN) and EBITDAaL indicator (4.3 billion PLN); Continued investment in the development and modernization of network infrastructure (>1.8 billion PLN), including PLN 726 million allocated to the acquisition of two blocks of valuable 700 MHz spectrum; Dynamic network expansion of the country’s largest mobile network infrastructure with 13,175 transmitters by the end of the year; The achievement of complete technological independence – Play discontinued domestic roaming; Play as the leader in MNP - the most preferred operator among number porters.

2024

Play with the highest revenue in history (10.2 billion PLN) and EBITDAaL indicator (>4 billion PLN); network expansion with 12,426 transmitters by the end of the year; Play as the leader in MNP - the most preferred operator among number porters; further development of services for home and B2B.

2023

Play, in cooperation with InfraVia Capital Partners, creates the Polish Open Fibre (PŚO) - the largest broadband network in the open access model.

2022

UPC moved to Play - the first joint welcome offer.

2021

Play already has 7000 base stations and 15 million customers

2020

Play becomes part of the iliad Group - one of the largest telecommunications groups in Europe.

2019

Launch of the modern 5G Ready network.

2018

Play already has 7000 base stations and 15 million customers.

2017

Play debuts on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

2016

Launch of the Play NOW TV service.

2015

Music moved to Play, i.e Tidal in Play.

2014

Launch of Formula Family - an innovative group sales model of Play services.

2013

Super-fast 4G LTE internet in Play. Gaining 10 million customers.

2012

Play introduces Formula 4.0, the first offer on the market with unlimited calls to all networks.

2011

Educational program Test the Smartphone (Testuj Smartfona) enabling free testing of the smartphone.

2010

Introduction of the Free State (Stan Darmowy), i.e. free calls and text messages within the network. Play has 5 million customers.

2009

Launch of the revolutionary Play Fresh prepaid offer.

2008

Launch of Play Online – an attractively priced mobile internet offer. Gaining 1 million customers.

2007

Commercial launch of Play, an operator that changed the telecommunications market in Poland.
